I've been so busy the past couple weeks I have not had time, and I was lucky enough to have my phone eat my sd card with all the pictures of my build. Honestly theres too many things to type about the truck, I figured it would be easier to explain them over the phone and text pictures to anyone...

Moving on, just burnt out with pulling. Trucks got potential but I just dont wanna play anymore so Id like to see someone get it running like it should.

Anybody know where I can get a solid lifter coversion kit? Just called wipeout and apparently they no longer do the powerstroke stuff.

While the intakes off cut that crossover on the back off and have someone tig on some blockoff plates. Then you will have a later style intake, you can use an 04 pedestal, and it gives u more room to get the ipr and icp.

You guys with the hyd dove have any issues with loading things as far as the angle getting too steep and high centering when goin onto the main deck? I just got a load trail and it seems like it can get pretty step, especially when the grounds not flat. For tractors and stuff I dont see an issue...

Maybe cryoing and stress relieveing the block would help. Round off all the sharp edges and get rid of casting lines and stress risers. Would be alot of work but for a build it may be worth it.

I've got a south bend 3850 dd in my pulling truck, my question is when i push the pedal all the way down it sounds like the fork is rubbing the pressure plate and you can feel the pedal bouncing like it is. It has a new throw out bearing, the forks in good shape. I never got a chance to run it...

They have a pump and external cooler already. My advice is to buy a reman from midwest gear or somebody like that. It comes with a warranty and youll have a hard time buying parts to fix yours for less. Also theyre a pita to do lots of parts and press time getting them apart.

I got a 11 f350 with a leveling kit and thinking about ordering some rims and tires now that the stockers are spanked. My question is, I wanna do 17x9 maybe 17x10 with a 285/70r17, what backspace can I run? I would like them to stick out of the wheel well a little. Also whats everybody doing...

Mine does it too once in a while. They flashed mine but it still does it. Ill wait till it does it more reguarly, otherwise they'll just tell me they can't duplicate it.

What he said, as long as the heads haven't been off in while the gaskets kinda glue the heads to the block and help hold it on. Anything less than a hybrid, studs aren't really needed. Seen lots of trucks with hybrids be fine for many years. Springs have to be shimmed if they aren't they won't...

This another option. Little bit of a pain to do, but so far it seems to work.
