    Forgot to add that I changed the oil the other night. I had a lot of metal on the drain plug. Guess whatever it’s from is not a good sign.

    Sounds good. I’ll have the shop look at it and let me know. I would do it myself but I have to time with work and no shop to do it in right now. Middle of winter here in pa so outside is out of the question lol.

    Well I seem to have some issuse going on with my 6.4. It’s got about 197k on it and it’s make some bad ticking noises on the drivers side. I’ve also had a few codes come up for number 2 injector when it’s cold, it seems like the injector is hanging open. I’m thinking about getting the injector...

    Small world lol. Im from out by Harveys Lake. I used to work in the montrose area a few years ago. Just saw your thread about you build. Trucks gotta be pretty nasty. I know my 6.4 that went on a diet is way quicker than my 7.3 when i had just a chip.

    Wow, electrical weirdness...

    All the problems you have sound like a ground problem. Check the grounds on the front if the block. Also check the ground strap on the back of the head and the ground straps from the frame to the body. The windows could be a broken wire inside the rubber going for the door to the cab.

    Pull the rubber back that goes form the door to the cab and check all of the wires really good. Mine had a broken wire inside there and it would cause the windows to not work and the dome lights to freak out when you hit the switch.

    Turns out something in the trans locked up I started it and it won't even rev it strugles and it puked oil everywhere.

    my RR from irate is all paker pushlok hose form the tank to the valley. Its routed in the stock location. I've had no problems with it yet and its been on for about a year.

    I'm gonna have a local machine shop do all the machine work and I'll put it together my self with my dad. He's a certified diesel mechanic for over 35 years. Im pretty confident with the machine shop they've been building big block drag motors for the last 40 years.
