    Believe it or not. Oil life plays a role in a heui motor in tuning. If its longer in the oci and the oil doesnt hold up and you're trying a tune revision, it wont be consistent.. Bean did that a while back on the dyno when custom tuning. They had issues with oils and added the Schaeffer's moly...

    Back in the day, everyone ran 15w40 rotella in drag car race motors. The zinc was so high. But it shit out quick in high rpm applications so they changed it after every weeknd. Or 6 passes. Whatever came first. Used to be a big fan of rotella.

    Thats one of the best over the counter oils you can get. That and valvoline 5w40 are super close. They hold up well. I tell everyone that doesn't want mail order oil to go with one of those.
