As the title says....it is only a month or so old andhas less than 200 miles on it...only selling because I had to change to the newer style front cover that uses a different pump. 275 shipped

BOOM!!!

Well I got the parts but unfortunately the 03 cover is no longer available so my BPD billet water pump is now up for sale as I need to get the 04 and up style. I spoke with the tuner and the shift points shouldnt be as high as I said and they may not have been as I wasnt data logging....just...

BOOM!!!

Yeah I gotta look at the tune...I think it is a combination of the rpm and the loading/unloading on the shift even though it happens quick I think it is a shock on the pump.

Stock dampener...and I gotta look at the tune but think its shifting at 4100 or 4200.

I had the parts on order as soon as I got the dampener off, they should be in today. I would have changed over to the newer cover if I hadnt just bought a Billet water pump last month. I think Im going to adjust the tune a bit once I get it together tonight. I think it happened on a shift when I...

BOOM!!!

got on the it goin to work this morning and lost power about the top of 4 th gear. Coasted over and saw no ICP voltage and no oil pressure on dash guage...Got it towed home and checked LPOP on manual guage and got nothing so I pulled the LPOP and saw this....Awesome!!!!

is any RR better than another?

Just installed a Driven diesel kit on mine last night...quality is good as is fitment....banjos o the back would have been a bitch if I didnt have my cab off..

Wow small world...I missed the 94 cruise as I was just getting to the squadron as they were about 6 weeks from returning. The 96 cruise was a good time,lots of good ports. I made another in 98 on the USS Stennis.

03 turbo

I have my stock 03 turbo off my truck that I am thinking about selling. I am in the process of doing headstuds and injectors and am thinking of going to a bigger turbo. Nothing wrong with my stock one, just think a powermax may be a better match for my injectors. It has 125k on it and the shaft...

That was my plan.....just didnt know if the 100mm vs 90mm impeller is worth the hassle of changing the cover. I have not had any cooling issues before and now the egr is going to be out of the system.

water pump question

I'm doin headgaskets and studs and other upgrades and want to replace the water pump while its apart. I have an 03 build motor and was trying to get some opinions on if it is worthwhile to swap to the newer front cover to run the bigger 04+ water pump.

Thanks everyone....started taking the truck apart this evening,made some decent progress but seems the fan is not wanting to come off the waterpump so thats was my stopping point for this evening. Need to get the right size wrench tomorrow.

I'm gonna run the Platinums from RCD after talking to them and being assured that they were of the same quality as OEM and made in same facility....I know they havent been out long but I have two buddies that have used them with good results so far. Picked up a new set of heads too just to speed...

Just signed up after lurking for a while. Getting ready to go through and bulletproof my 6.0 this weekend. got a bad oil leak so I figured it is time to adress the problem areas. Doin the normal...ARP studs.gaskets,egr delete,coolant filter,oil cooler replacementall from RCD along with an IDP...
