    Sweet! When it would plug up on my Duramax, it messed up regens, boost, shifts and mpg. Check it every so often and hit it with some brakecleen.

    Have you pulled the map sensor off the top of the intake manifold and cleaned it? I've seen some completely caked over causing all sorts of weird symptoms (minus whining).

    Wrong.. look up TSB 21-2420 and or 20-2375. Try another dealer or get the thing tuned if you get pushback.

    I would never personally recommend someone to tow heavy with their hot tune, especially if they use cruise. 15+ the 6.7s have enough power to wreck the trans if you really suck at driving or have crap tunes.

    SCT has very little to no support as well... the -P units are getting hard to find and if they've been updated they no longer support weight loss. Other forums I frequent are full of H&S V2 issues.

    Yeah, I have no experience with them so take it with a grain of salt. All three of the dealers I spoke with in Canada recommended ***P instead due to more recent support and TCM issues. I'd give Proven a try on my personal truck, but with how many issues this ones had I didn't want to chance it.

    Honestly if the truck runs fine I'd just leave it. Not much innovation has gone into better tuning over the past 5 years due to EPA scrutiny.

    I get it, truck needs better tuning. Better tuning won't fix slipping clutches or a failing VB, tho. I want to verify there is no internal failures before tossing new tunes at it. Does anyone know anyone who I can send some tuning data logs to?
