    Ball joints.

I have several different ball joint press kits, I have to combine parts from them occasionally but the standard one with the clamp, three round adapters and two mandrels typically does the trick. Harbor freight sells the identical version of my otc one pretty cheap but I can’t attest to how good...

    Fuel system for 175/30’s

Actually use a fass with a g&r sump has return built in. As a former visteon engineer who did fuel system work I did my own regulated return on my 6.0 with a regulated return and a aeromotive A1000 pump plumbed back of heads for the return. There are plenty of options/ways to skin the...

Need some advice, buying 6.4 with built engine

I had a mishimoto in my 6.0 and it was ok, I was on my 2nd plugged oem in 200k. Regular flushes filtered etc. I only ran the mishi maybe 8 months before I got rid of the truck and it was doing ok on deltas but any of them will for awhile. I’d liked to have put some more miles on it and seen how...

Need some advice, buying 6.4 with built engine

I too am curious why stats aren’t in it, depending on local climate. I think most throw a motor together and off the truck before it happens again. If done right it should last indefinitely assuming the aforementioned items were actually used. Hell a guy could’ve put one or two new pistons in on...

Need some advice, buying 6.4 with built engine

Similar to my build but I did billet rods injectors and .020 over bore. Should be good, I like my truck but I agree on the torque converter. My trans feels vague with only 87k miles compared to the one in my 6.0 which was a revmax build by me with a converter. I’m hoping some good tunes will...

    BTS alternative?

Check with revmax on a kit if you’re thinking of diy, great people to deal with.

    Trouble seating turbos

Can you see the other side? I had one roll the opposite side out, luckily I caught it but had to replace the drain as it was messed. I used a bore scope iirc to see back there.

    Intermittent fuel pressure

Check the sender for bits of the strainer coming apart and clogging the lines. Also make sure the hfcm is constantly running. I’ve also seen one where the oring for the regulator seat was bad and wouldn’t hold pressure.

    Schaffers 722 for 2017 6.7powerstroke

I know the sled pulling community likes Schaffer’s really well, I haven’t anywhere local to purchase it but I wouldn’t foresee any issues. I honestly believe many times more thougt and worry is expended on oil than is necessary. My wife’s jetta tdi is lucky to get its oil changed every 80k...

    Silicone body mounts

I was a fabrication engineer for ford/visteon when I got out of college and you’d be hard pressed to build/design a nicer set of mounts than s&b did. After taking a Chevy guy a ride before-after he wants them to make them for the chevs

    Upgrading turbo

Do the stage 2 from KC i had an ats then the Kc and was more than happy on old truck made 640’s at the tires on big tune but towed weekly on a tow safe tune and it was excellent all around, you won’t be disappointed.

    Silicone body mounts

When I did mine the no limit ones were out of stock so bought the s&b. They definitely are very nice, maybe I’ll get to install some no limits for a customer sometime to compare

    Silicone body mounts

No they make truck ride so nice. I was skeptical for the money involved but the fitment and design is top notch.

    2008 F250 6.4 powerstroke code P087

If you have a reflash done you will lose your ****** if you don’t have the tuner truck was tuned with.

    Tech Info

They will call that input shaft seal. If you know manufacturer of the box it maybe easier searching for a seal kit by that name rather than application.

    Tech Info

Check for a pitman shaft seal, Napa looks like they carry the kit.

    Anyone running a gated setup?

I started with 45 psi spring but I’m gonna lower it, unfortunately the new high pressure turbo failed yesterday at just under 3k miles. Old turbo was fine but replaced both while I was building engine. Now gotta get them off and make some calls. Grrrr

    Anyone running a gated setup?

Been playing with my setup a bit wondering what spring guys are using in the wastegate and how like it. Running a rcd 74mm ol over a stock hp with a Kc wheel on mine.

    Theft risk?

Switching source would be easiest especially if you install a monitor in the future, would keep things simple and be one less thing to remember.
