160/30 injectors real world reviews
On my truck, my hazing pretty much went away when I swapped from PIS 175/80’s to FF 180/80’s. And the truck ran and idled much more quietly. All on the same tunes. 250,000 miles later and only slight hazing on cool morning start ups. Figured they are starting to get tired.- PSD POWER007

Modified AIS filter vs Donaldson blue "6637"
Heck, on my 7.3 and 6.0 running the Donaldson blue and the No Limit intakes, both open air obviously, my intake air temps are within a few degrees of ambient temps towing or not while the truck is at highway speeds. And my IAT drops fairly quick in stop and go traffic when the truck starts...- PSD POWER007

Battery voltage while driving
I’ve been curious about this too. My voltage is the same from the alternator post all the way to the fuse box power supply. But the other side of the fuse box reads lower and matches what my CTS2 reports through the OBD2 port. Usually 13.9-14.1v at the alternator/batteries and bounces from...- PSD POWER007

That makes no sense. More preload in the spring should have the opposite effect. Probably shouldn’t have enough fuel to over spin that turbo. When I had my 38r I had the WG adjusted so that it couldn’t open and didn’t have issues with 175/80’s.- PSD POWER007

I had a 38r before the BASB on my truck and the BASB was an incredible upgrade in street performance as well as towing. But ESPECIALLY towing. My plan is to go 238/80’s when my 180’s get tired.- PSD POWER007

I think the standard 364.5 would’ve done you fine. My BASB is a tow beast with 180/80’s and the 364.5 SXE is supposed to be superior to it. When I have the time and money, I’m gonna make the switch. Which injectors are you running?- PSD POWER007

Mobil 1 as fuel additive
You won’t pick up any MPG adding oil. Just be helping to lube the fuel side of the injectors a little. Definitely won’t hurt.- PSD POWER007

They came with the Driven Diesel regulated return. So hard to say how much difference they made. The regulated return DEFINITELY helps hold pressure on both my 7.3 and 6.0.- PSD POWER007

I am curious as to why you always put down FF injectors? I had two sets of PIS injectors, both under Tim’s watch before the “restructuring” and both sets were crap and didn’t last 10,000 miles. With my BASB (basically a 364.5), 180/80’s, and GH tunes on my Hydra, this is the best towing truck I’ve ever had. I run the GH All Out tune towing or empty and EGT’s are not a worry.
