I bet they don't recommend 3x on dpf trucks due to fuel dilution. Do your oil analysis to back up whatever recommendations you follow. -

2015 Fuel mileage
The last two weeks have been brutal with the bitter cold. I live 3 miles from work, 2 miles from the grocery store, and 5 miles from the gym (where I drive the most). Pretty much start it, let it idle for 5-10 minutes, drive a few miles, then shut it off. Last 3 tanks have been in the 10-13... -

Good & Quiet Exhaust
On my last truck, I tried a few different mufflers and Corsa proved to be by far the best at eliminating the drone. It's an expensive muffler, but it's made out of 304, so it will last forever. It was quieter than stock going down the highway, but still sounded good when you really got on it...- knaffie

Towing with my deleted 15
Pulling hills, usually 18-22 in 5th or 6th. A bit more in 4th, which rarely happened. I had one scary event where I had to slam on the brakes on a 8% grade and slow way down, then I hammered down and saw 28 PSI in 3rd - the most boost I've ever seen in this truck. It's 100% stock.- knaffie

That's a lot different than your original statement. I respect your opinion of how each system works, and simply wanted to point out to you that if you really "can not even tell if the exhaust brake on the Ford functions" that something is very wrong.- knaffie

Then something is very wrong with your truck. I just got back from a 4300 mile road trip towing my 10,000-ish # trailer. I saw as much as 24 PSI of brake "boost" and drove 8% grades with 10,000# behind me and rarely had to use the wheel brakes. If it's not braking enough, downshift, it will...- knaffie

That's one thing I noticed, when ever I fill up (20-ish gallons) the pump always says I took about one more gallon than the dash says I used. I'll just go by what the dash says, it's less depressing. :D -

You said you used highs a lot. I assumed appropriately. If nobody is there to see them, they'll be no more blinded by a led bar than your highs and you get to see better. ;) We all forget sometimes but I guarantee if you leave the led bar on with oncoming traffic, you'll get lots of... -
