I would bet a 6.0 or 6.4 trans cooler would work well for your project, not sure on the fuel cooler but I like the frame mounted D-max style I would be interested to see how this turns out, not a bad move.

Truck looks great man... exactly the one I want! You will love the lights in the bumper, I wont own a truck without them now that I have ran them for a couple years. Super handy with trailers and such. Awesome job as always.

DEF tank

Im not sure that's true because I have heard if you don't unplug that module on the right side when you take the *** off it will spray urea out of the line. Unhooking it doesn't generate codes... or at least that's what I was told. I always unplug them.

Gas in new F250

Ive seen a few duramax's survive no reason that truck shouldn't either. these newer pumps seem to be less fragile. Most likely it wont last as long as it would have but I would try it before spending 10k on a new fuel system.

Is a wastegate needed ?

The turbine wheel is much bigger on the 15+ so there is no need to have the gate to control excessive back pressure. The VGT and larger wheel are able to keep that under control.
