It uses as built data and yes it's user friendly you will need to buy a ELM327 connector to make it work and get the free advanced license. Not sure if the 08-10 trucks can be shut off but I think they can -

it can but in the easy side of things it is only to switch from 26 to 36 gallon tank. There is another chart you have to use by the gallon but i have not been able to really figure that out. I think in ids you can basically input the gallons you need -

aux heater
I would think that it should have it but I have seen some higher end trucks without. There is an additional battery cable that runs to the firewall that is usually a give away. It has a fusable link that says "100" on it. -

Drove a '17 yesterday, so that's why you are all excitement is about
probably off the line because its more laggy. Where you would notice it gets better is merging on the highway. I think he is also tuned.- Dzchey21

No worries I'm chalking this one up as a loss. I put them in with no rear gasket and the light is just too scattered with the deflector to justify keeping them in. Thanks however- Dzchey21
