    If its that bad, I'd pull the low pressure oil regulator, 12mm allen iirc, and check for needle bearings or other material.

    It's probably just a bad ipr. Thats not totally uncommon. Also not uncommon to replace the ipr due to that case, and the truck keep going for a long time. My guess, if the ipr was to be re installed exactly as it was removed, and y'all hooked up a scanner, you would find about 250 psi reading at...

    You need to plumb in a gauge, on the low pressure side if you think that's wjere the issue lies. You can pull the oil filter iirc and depress the valve in the bottom of the housing with someone cranking the truck to observe low pressure oil flow.     Sounds like a miss to me if you're positive the exhaust isn't rubbing anywhere. Especially because you say it happens when the converter locks.

    Make sure inside the connector the female part of the pigtail has the pins pushed close enough together to where they're making contact and not getting a poor connection.

    The owner did that first, and I am wondering now if he did break it. He is a big dude and was trying to turn the wheel while on the key. The wheel never locked. He went over 1/2 turn each way.

    No, cluster appears to not be getting any signal. Hazard/flashers show on it, and backlighting comes on with the headlight switch, but thats about it.

    I considered that, but didn't want to do so and blow a bunch of fuses, but at this point i guess it's worth a shot. What gets me is the ignition not turning its full travel. Unless on the 6.4 it has some sort of electric lock...
