Pro-comp warrantied the shocks on my steering stabilizer. I had the new shocks installed today. I was ready to buy new shocks but they replaced them for me. Pretty cool. :)
Well, the problem is solved. Whew. I put new tires on it Saturday. As much as everyone hates them, I went with the same tires I had on it, the BFG AT TA/KO, 315/70/17D. I couldn't keep myself from it :) I love 'em (had 7 sets over the years). Then this morning, I had it in the alignment shop and...
It looks good and I like the black a bunch. White doesn't work for me with what I do for a living, lol.. they look like crap in a month. Since I'm also prone to punching holes in the shocks on corn stalks and what-not; I even thought about getting some motorcycle exhaust shields to go over each...
Well, I'm home from the diesel shop. The new track bar didn't solve the death wobble. We took it back off because if you can believe it, it performed even worse. It's beginning to look more and more like something else is may be broken/worn/sloppy etc. My mechanic tightened the lift and other...

Sounds nice. I'm going to take care of the track bar and then go from there. I think the steering stabilizer is not the first problem. Thanks for the input!
Well, got up in there and took a real good look around and it looks like my OFE track bar is shot. I ordered an Icon adjustable track bar from 4 Wheel Parts and I'll let y'all know what happens. The ProComp Stabilizer is probably the band-aid that's keeping it all together right now. I'll let...
This photo was taken when the stabilizer (and truck) were new.
I'm a crop insurance adjuster and My 6.7 is 17 months old. I put a 4" Rancho lift, 35" Goodrich AT TA/KO tires and a Pro Comp Steering Stabilizer on when truck was 4 days old. I drive 40K miles a year. Well, the stabilizer has...
I dug around in my old photo cards and found this one for ya. In the top frame, is the kid's Cavalier recently UN-impaled from the receiver hitch on my yellow pickup. In the bottom frame is that awkward teenage moment when you pick up the phone and say "Hi, Dad? You're not going to believe this
