    BTS down for the count

Total BS except for the part of being sick. If there was any customer service, the office would have called you and gave you an update. I hope you're kidding I would've expected some updates after the 2 weeks. I would gave them an option....if can't fix it then ship it back. And what do...

Do these hpop's go out, or start to slowly die?

19-20lbs of boost is too low especially for SXE 64.5. Check for boost leaks (IC, plenums), bad gauge. Pressurize your intake system. I think you have another issue, not the HPOP. I have a Pius built BW turbo which I think is a 64.5 pre SXE line and I could hit 35lbs with ease on my daily...

Do these hpop's go out, or start to slowly die?

Before you do anything, you need to know what the tunes are commanding. If the tunes are look for XXX HPO and the HPOP can't deliver, then the IPR % will increase to try to reach the value in the tune. Plus, if you have leak in the HPO system, that'll contribute to the low HPO. Billy T...

    DIY E fuel suggestions needed.

Here are some pics before I went with a T4 set up. The braided lines are -6 covered in heat sleeving due to running in the area of the turbo. The feed to the heads 1/8NPT x -6AN (I tried a swivel fitting (black) and then went to a 90* fitting (blue) ). I used Ermeto compression fittings on...

    Time to do injectors

If you hydrolocked the motor by filling the rails, you have a major leak into the combustion chamber. You really need to put a scanner on. Did you try putting 12v directly to the IPR? Billy T. [email protected]

    Time to do injectors

Any smoke coming out the tailpipe? You really need to hook up a scanner. See what you have for ICP, IPR% and PW. Confirm that you didn't mix up the EBPV wire with the IPR wire. If you have an old injector harness lying around, it's the same connector for the IPR. Apply 12v directly to...

EGT, how hot is too hot, and what can be done

On the EGT issue, the temps is related to how aggressive the fueling is. I'm currently running Tyrant tunes on my 7.3. I'm noticing that the EGTs are higher with Cale's tunes compared to DynoProven, GH, Tony's tunes. If EGTs are a concern for ya, have Cale scale back the fueling. I'm...

    6.7l adjustable high idle modification

I just did this using the assistance off the videos from above. I didn't opt to use the relay to give a ground signal to trick the truck's computer. I still have to depress the E-brake. Since Radio Shack is gone, I ordered my parts from Digi-Key SPDT switch - CW161-ND Potentiometer (50K) -...

OBS 7.3 runs rough at idle

All engines have blow-by or could it be windage from the crank? Don't go by some smoke/oil vapor coming out of some rdt. You need to do a compression test and leak down test. Billy T. [email protected]

OBS 7.3 runs rough at idle

I would clear the codes and start fresh. Also, change the oil so you know the proper diesel oil was put in. In the video, what's up with the engine temp light? Billy T. [email protected]

Oil in cylinder while waiting on new injectors

I would not crank the motor over using the starter motor. Turn the motor by hand with the GPs removed. Billy T. [email protected]

    6.7l adjustable high idle modification

You do know that the white/violet wire is already tapped into the E-brake circuit. All you have to do is press down on the E-brake and the BCM already knows the white/violet wire is grounded. No need for any relays or extra wires. Billy T. [email protected]

    6.7l adjustable high idle modification

Can't figure out why one wants to use the SEIC and/or BCP feature without setting the E-Brake. I get it that the BCM needs to see the E-Brake ground input if the truck needs to move in PTO mode. Billy T. [email protected]
