Cab is back on and truck is running again. Got a lot of small bull**** to tie up and make nice again. Just have to get the cab corners done and then the bed can go on.- Josh@DirtyDiesels

Thanks! Truck is getting there. Cab is back on just need to do a coolant flush and get the fuel tank back in and it should be moving around again. Had to heli coil a valve cover bolt hole while it was up so glad my oil will now be staying in the engine LOL. Also have to replace the seal on the...- Josh@DirtyDiesels

Not sure about a full respray. Going to take it to a few shops to get estimates and see what they think. Should be able to get away with just painted the bed and maybe blending in to the rear of the cab and then respraying the gold two tone along the bottom, since the cab corners are being...- Josh@DirtyDiesels

Pulled them off last night. They are covered in overspray and paint drips. I hated the color anyways since it never matched right. Going to get them sand blasted and paint them to match the truck most likely. BTW whats this I hear you're back in town?- Josh@DirtyDiesels

Frame is all done. Was going to topcoat with a gloss black but I think I'm going to leave the flat black. Used the Eastwood rust encapsulator and did two coats. They say it doesn't need a top coat so we will see how it holds up. Can always top coat most spots later down the road if need be...- Josh@DirtyDiesels

I really don't see driveshaft angle being an issue but who knows maybe I am wrong. I do know that mine has been at this height for over 3 years and has made over 700hp and had the piss beat out of it many times with no issues. I've never had to replace a driveshaft u joint or carrier bearing...- Josh@DirtyDiesels

Honestly I never checked it. There aren't any hard angles at any of the joints. It's been at this height for 3 years and the traction bars were installed at this height. When I had it lifted 4.5" I had a carrier bearing drop and I just adjusted the traction bars out a few turns.- Josh@DirtyDiesels

I hated it with the 4.5 on 35s it was horrible. Everything about it just sucked. ****ty handling, had to jump up in, big tires slowed it down etc... I haven't ran the 33s yet but I think they will be fine Friend of mine had one. He may have more I can ask him, if you need one?- Josh@DirtyDiesels

yeah you would never know in pics... it is what it is. It's going to look like ass through the winter most likely with mismatched color bed and primered cab corners but I am thinking a full respray come spring. Also have a small winter wheel/tire setup coming 18x9 -12 mavericks with 33x12.50 Toyo RT- Josh@DirtyDiesels
