Hot start problem

I guess you can buy the T4 kit and see how much of the 3" plumbing you can utilize. It still seems simpler in my mind to go full T4/SD intercooler than keeping the ATS intercooler. I would think there is a buyer out there for a full bolt in ATS kit, instead of piecing together their own IC...- rusty1161

The routing of the ATS kit is a lot different than the Irate/SD setup. Getting that hot side to hook up will be interesting. 3" plenums do improve flow in my experience. I don't imagine Ford or International going to 3" plenums unless they did make a measurable improvement. Especially if you're...- rusty1161

If you're not in a rush, Irate has their annual sale at Thanksgiving time. In the mean time, source a 7.3 SD intercooler, and pull your whole ATS intercooler kit and sell it to offset the T4 swap, and run non-IC until you have all of the parts. Rusty- rusty1161

New Ipr mabe it worse.
You probably got air in the HPO system when you swapped that IPR, more the second time. Drive it 50 miles or so to work the air out of the HPO system. Also, check the harness. These trucks are getting old and oil/diesel leaks wreak havoc on the insulation. My IPR harness was shorting and... -

A/C compressor replacement question
I replaced my drier, too, and added 2 oz to it. I think I lost about an ounce during installation. I left the 7 ounces in the compressor, evacuated the air for 90 minutes and filled with 3 12oz cans of R134a, the system calls for 38oz. She blows cold! Hoping it all works well. For any of you A/C gurus, please share your advice. Thank you! I just replaced my A/C compressor with a Motorcraft YCC208, brand new with 7 oz of oil installed.
