    Oil cooler leak

:whs: Usually they leak the most when cold, those old o-ring going to be real brittle.

    Barometer question

The Baro sensor rarely ever fails. Just look at the PID and compare it to you altitude. I usually do look at it in the data stream when I'm doing a driveability problem. I'm at around 900+ and I'm looking for 156-158HZ when checking a vehicle. You probably have a stiction issue going on.

    Oil Leak on fresh motor

Look at the boot that connects the inner-cooler tube to the turbo.

    Icp acting stooopid

Pull the connector off the ICP sensor and look for oil, if you find oil replace the sensor and connector. Most of the trucks I work on need both.

    6.0 cranks no start

On early 6.0's the ICP sensor is next to the IPR, almost everyone of those leaks oil and needs to be replaced along with the connector. It is possible that could cause a no-start. What does it have for ICP? Pull the IPR and look at the screen, see if it has a hole.

    6.0 cranks no start

The first step is to scan it and see what codes it has. If it has a ICP problem, remove the IPR and look for a hole in the screen, if you find a hole it, it probably has debris in it.

Not your Normal No start 6.0...Need some suggestions

Well there is one last thing I can think of. I have known this twice before where the tone wheel on the crank spun, so the injectors were out of time. Both trucks were in shops that friends of mine owned so I didn't actually have my hand on them, I just helped them over the phone. On the first...

Not your Normal No start 6.0...Need some suggestions

^^^ Like he says about the batteries, I never thought about using a amp clamp, I'll have to try that. When the ICP jumps from 500-600 to 1400+ I think that the PCM is actually substituting the default setting and your really not getting that much ICP, I'm not 100% on that.... but that's what I...

Not your Normal No start 6.0...Need some suggestions

I hope my response shows up in red, I tried to go though your post and give you some ideas of what to look for. These engines really aren't to difficult to figure out. But it sounds like some type of HPO problem. A couple other thing to check Any codes showing up? Does it have "sync" What is...

    Rebuilt injector lifespan

I would ONLY use Motorcraft injectors, anything else is a gamble. Every brand I've tried has had issues, and I'm testing with a Hickok G2 tester, youtube it.

    Truck won't start

If it's not out of fuel check ICP, if it's not making 500 PSI of ICP remove the IPR valve and look for a cut in the screen. If you find a cut, you found the problem.

    6.0 list and question

You didn't say anything about the STC fitting, the stand pipes and dummy plugs, those are common problems. Also the turbos need to be cleaner sooner or later. How do you know your oil cooler is "fine"? I would also add a coolant filter kit and run a full synthetic oil. I'm sure there is...

:whs: I agree. Airfish is great to deal with, I've bought parts from him before.

    bad speed sensor

Also check the wires from the VSS to the frame rail, I find a lot of the problems are damaged wires in that area.

It sure sounds like a loose injector, I've seen it a few times before.

05 6.0 rough idle no power white smoke

Sounds like a loose injector. Did you blow the oil out of the bolt holes for the injectors? I think that's how so many injectors come loose, the bolt hydraulics when the injector is installed and then loosens up and the the compression aerates the fuel, then they don't run very good.

Check the ICP sensor, see if it's leaking oil in to the connector.

    Stumped on 2006 electrical issue

That 601 breaker looks like it powers the windows. Fuse 42 gets its power from the acc delay relay when it is energized.

    Stumped on 2006 electrical issue

Did you try and put power to circuit breaker 601 and see if that makes everything work? or power up those dead fuses? I've never seen any of those circuit breakers fail, they always reset when they cool. I'm looking at Mitchell for the wiring diagrams, for the accessory delay relay it only shows...
