    Sure was! Honestly the hottest thing there besides us was a 2.6 Duramax, which he did really well and placed 2nd at 318'. Ben was 337' for 1st. I'm interested to see how we do when we get a decent crowd of 3.0 trucks together at a COTPC event.

    Oh I don't take it as criticism at all. Very few people actually understand what we did with the suspension so they think that something may need changed, or that we need stops, etc. I appreciate the compliment on how it ran.

    The truck literally got finished yesterday at 5:00 and we rolled into Eaton at 8:30 for the first hook. Backed it off the trailer, weighed it, and within 10 minutes had it hooked to the sled.     FWIW, We only use Alliant Power orings and have not had a single failure that we are aware of in 10+ years. We only use one steel, as we've found no benefit to running two. There are orings available from at least two other manufacturers that appear like Alliant orings, but do not hold up as...

    Got the short block 90% done. Here are a few pictures of it going together. Today's project is to start cleaning the parts that we will be reusing from the old engine. Then the heads will go on and the long block should be complete.

    Believe it or not we have a good bit more fuel on tap. We started very low on fuel because we didn't know what the engine would want or need.
