    Haha, it certainly wouldn’t hurt.. it hasn’t had the VCs off in almost 10 years since Casserly last freshened the injs. I’ve often thought that the orings need to be looked at, but pressure has stayed consistent. It’s used on the tow file 3/4 of the time and the pump works real good there...

    My stock 17 can deliver enough volume to the 250/100s to create 3k+ at PW below 4ms. The longer, drag file will drop to 2900 or so but I don’t use the it on the street as it’s got a fair amount of tip in smoke off boost.

    Lots of Kleen Strip jelly, then sanding and polish. That’s a job I won’t be doing again haha. They turned out good but takes maintenance.

    Remove the GPs, put the valve covers back on and crank it. Insert a couple bolts in each cover because the oil can blow the covers off.

    Injector(s) issue (power loss or mechanical)— slow engine speed is likely worse. A good code reader will give more info to a possible electrical issue like this. Find someone with AE or snap on reader for power stroke .

    You are not going to pull 17 in gear.. especially with a tighter converter. I agree you check it in gear when you are trying to size the power valve. The 6.5 is fine.

    In the amazon link , there’s two plugged harnesse/wires that you need. The regulator harness and the field exciter wire.

    Sure, its the same shaft. Just required some minor shimming to deal with the offset differences. This pic was the first install before the electric water pump and CRF brackets.
