Why won't they remove the windshield, reseal it and reinstall the windshield for you, it is most likely the problem.. -

I may be reading it wrong, Is the HPOP and injectors new as well.. Is you're EGR still intact? -

Bad connector or something not right in the harness would be my guess.. The fact that the issue jumps all over the fuking place says electrical.. -

What oil do you run?
For some ya, you would be.. The additives buy time for people that can't afford to replace injectors or update there FICM's. High mileage 6.0's are everywhere and they will all need additives and or expensive parts at some point.. Buying time is the name of the game for a lot of people that own... -

wait to start light
It's been a while since I messed with a 6.0 but if my memory serves me correctly, there is a fusible link, I don't believe there is a fuse in the box.. I had the same issue as the OP, I ohmed out the circuit and found bad gp's and the harness was wrecked.. -

How is an owners manual, or test light gonna help him? Ohm meter is what he needs to find out if he has a short in one of the plugs or the harness has been compromised.. Controller could also be bad.. Its on the pass side valve cover...closer to the front of the engine. Its about 4"x3" and has... -

What oil do you run?
VALVOLINE PREMIUM BLUE EXTREME 5-40 is what most people have had good luck with in 6.0's.. One of my trucks ran good on it and the other ran better on Mobil 1.. I know many people that run Rotella T6 without an issue.. -

Famous 6.7 tick after oil change
My buddy uses Mobil 1 also and no tick after 200 miles, summer or winter doesn't matter.. It's no different than when the 6.0 came out, everyone had to figure out what worked best for the majority of them.. Not one truck is the same as the other, so if you find what works in your truck, use it... -
Anyone getting any new input on redesign on the '17s?
Not always true, I still dislike the looks of the 08-10 trucks enough not to have ever considered buying one because of the looks of it..
