Run.. Even if your lucky enough to get another 50K out of it, it will cost you plenty just replacing parts on a nine year old truck with 270K on it.. -

Anti gel test
Two 6.0's and one 7.3 for me.. I plowed a lot with all three.. I also added motorcraft performance improver to it, maybe that has something to do with it.. :shrug:- Atsah

You didn't get lucky Tom, I have used Power Service up here since 2005 and never gelled trucks, tractors, skidders ever.. I give it a good dose of it and it works for me..- Atsah

My sisters place in Citra.. I'm headed out on the 24th for a couple of weeks.. She has a big horse farm down there that I have never been to, I figure after the last two months of sub zero weather and over six feet of snow, I'm about ready to look at something that's green for a change..LOL- Atsah

I have pulled a lot of things that I probably shouldn't have over the years short distances because I knew everything was in top notch shape but when I did I treated every vehicle coming towards me and behind me as if they were one of my family members, just be careful and you will be fine.. -

block heater plug location
Some 6.0's came with the cord and some didn't.. If you have one it should be in and around your left tow hook looking towards the front of the truck. They all come with the heater but not all have cords..
