    looks like they are giving you the 7.3 part. what is the part number of the one they are giving you? rockauto shows the same number in '97, '05, and '07 does your transmission have a repair bushing?

    you do not really need a boost gauge. EGT is the important one that cant be digitally monitored, the other being fuel pressure

    setup bearing are useless on a sterling. the adjustments are made out side of the carrier bearing so you never remove them. I bought a set for my d60 but didnt find them all that handy.

    I must have missed the benefit of the small nozzle...the part about requiring a super long pw sounded like a detriment as to why the other platforms dont increase nozzle size...well they do actually if it is the bottleneck for the power they are trying to make.

    buy crush sleeve eliminator from yukon as well as their master install kit. it will make the install far easier. the eliminator will be for a 9" but all you have to do to make it fit the 10.25 is file a little bit to clear the radius on the pinion of the 10.25 you will need an inch lb dial type...

    factory tunes in a 7.3 do not pull at 1800rpm so why would a modified one? any idiot trying to get better fuel economy with low rpm while climbing a hill doesnt have a sniff anyway. low rpm is for flatland cruising, pulling a hill is time for power and that is far easier on the motor at the...

    I think rpm was the key factor that was mentioned, dont build cylinder pressure that will kick the rods out at low rpm

    nope. still not assembled either. I think I have every piece sitting here now. just have to make the time and ignore some of the 'honey do list' until it runs. I was going to procrastinate but I figure I can do that later. its a hard choice, as the 7.3 made more power then I could use before...
