Something Broke. Extreme Vibration Under Throttle

This does not sound at all like a transmission problem. When you overheated the trans I hope you idled it for a while before shutting the engine off. Shutting the engine off with an overheated trans can cook the transmission.

Transmission issues again!

Find out why it won't launch. That is the biggest problem, and may be causing all of the other problems. The first step is to remove all tuning and see if it still does it.

They are known for sticking when they get contaminated from material from a failing clutch. The thing you are missing is that the forward clutch is applied by the manual valve. It is not connected to any solenoid. So if you replace the solenoids the forward clutch will still be on all the time...

It can't be a solenoid. No solenoid can cause that. When in gear does the engine free rev, or is it working against the converter? Will it roll in N, or is something holding it from rolling?

It's either a damaged wire to the torque converter clutch solenoid or a bad solenoid. The only way to know which one is to get a meter and do some diagnostics.

Yes it does. 5R110 Pressure Chart: Line Pressure - Idle P,N - 50 psi R - 100 psi D - 70 psi 3 - 80 psi 2 - 80 psi 1 - 80 psi After studying this, I think the leak is probably in the low/reverse clutch. That would cause low pressure in P,R, and N, with a slight loss in D. That's what I see...

Help! no crank after transmission swap

The TRS, which contains the neutral safety switch, is inside the transmission. It connects through the main trans plug. Without it the truck will not crank.

What does that mean? How did you go through everything? And what is everything except the ZF5 and the transfer case? How much backlash is there in the differential? In my experience, that is where almost all of the slop is found.
