Why not rotate the hose and mount the resi to he shock body itself. Problem solved.
Edit, one picture you have the shock mounted to the fender liner it looks like. The next it is clamped to the body?

The problem with ride controller is that it lacks in cab switches. It is only controlled by Bluetooth. A slick product, but the option of controlling the accessories in cab with a switch is a major plus from the sp-8 in my opinion.
Check out switch pros sp-8, I just put one in my fj and a customers Denali. 100% waterproof, plug and play harness, super easy to install. super impressed with them.
You may be able to get away with it driving on the street, but on compression you are going to be pushing the limit on bottom out.
I would not run it on a stock height truck unless I absolutely had to
