Didn't Nevada just screw over all the homeowners that did Solar?

2016 Project - 2015+ Turbo Bolt On Compound Kit - Midwest Diesel

GAWD this thing is awesome. So much want, so little money. {sigh, story of my life} So fantastic, my hat's off to you guys. Wondering how the F&R end hold up to all the power? And the Tcase too. 'n driveshafts. In my very first 4x4 we upgraded the engine first, then broke everything else...

Just wrecked my truck. Looking for front end upgrades

If you live anywhere there's deer you 'need' this bumper. Always amazes me though, people freak out on the price, but drop $5k in tires/wheels and $8k in a turbo & pipes to fry the tires. I guess it's because Ranch Hands are so cheap.

Just wrecked my truck. Looking for front end upgrades

Our bumpers are extremely strong. All the skins are 11ga steel and the entire substructure (the winch box) is 1/4". The main front skin in front of the which structure is backed up by the 1/4" so you've got 3/8" thick steel. The 'Stealth' model is about 155lbs according to my idiot child the...

Going way up in the air you probably don't need grill protection, so maybe this one would be to your liking. Personally I think they look better w/ the valance, but this customer is not running one. I can make you a really good deal on one.

    Prepping for Carli kit

I sure hope the shafts are not stainless. Stainless is not a very strong material. I would hope they are hardened steel like 4140/4340 with a very good hard chrome. I suspect this is what they are, but doubt King will tell you. FYI: Mine have 70kmi on them and I just cleaned the shafts...

Fraud like this makes me wonder...

...if all the studies on diesel particulates are a hoax and the whole industry has been turned upside down based on fraud. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/07/04/epa-funded-lab-faked-research-results-on-respiratory-illnesses-whistleblower-lawsuit-claims.html So much fraud in the research...

    Hot Shotting w/ my 6.7

Bottom line for ME: I need an engineering job. As my wife puts it, my job right now is 'getting a job' In between, maybe I'll mow some lawns.

    Hot Shotting w/ my 6.7

That's pretty much how I have it figured too. Those of you who do this for a living, please don't take offense, but I think you need to find someone better at math to do a projection for you. Way I see it, you are working your tail off, risking your life, eating crappy food and sleeping either...

Moving from Nitto Terra 325/50R22 to Ridge 37x12.50R22

No. I made it to knoxville (after scaring the crap out of me on the I40 pass) and stopped to check them. The fronts were at 75psi and the rears were at 95psi. I dropped them all to 70psi and things got better. Once I'd seen a load chart, I dropped them to 60psi and they got mo' better...

    non-d3leated tunes, any improvement...?

I know, I know, I know. Same thing w/ my '12. Just not d3leating yet. Truck could use a diet too, on the CAT scales w/ full tank and my fat azz in it, it's tipping 9800lbs  Couldn't have been carrying more than 300lbs of stuff either.

    non-d3leated tunes, any improvement...?

At this point in time I am not d3leated. Yes, I know all the advantages, my '12 was and it ran terrific. I still have all the hard parts, but for now, the '16 will not be d3leated. At some point I likely will, but not yet. I don't even mind DEF as the first tank lasted over 4,000miles. The...

    Hot Shotting w/ my 6.7

Thought y'all would find this amusing... I sat down this morning and did a spreadsheet. Bottom line, at the end working your log maximums for a week, if you are putting $ away for maintenance (rule of thumb, is that it equals the fuel) you come out NEGATIVE by over $300/week. My gut feel was...

Moving from Nitto Terra 325/50R22 to Ridge 37x12.50R22

that's the problem, there is none in a 22" wheel unless I go up to a 38"-40", the 37" barely fits and I don't want a M/T What I have is what I got and I just have to live with it. It's better now that I've aired it down some and other than the squirmy feeling I do like them quite a bit.

Need some help with wheel selection.

    I'm running a 37/12.50R22 on 22x10" wheels w/ a +10 offset w/ a leveling kit and imho they fit perfectly.

    Hot Shotting w/ my 6.7

I went to a parts dealer in Elkhart to see about all the other crap I was required to have by the Transport company. After chatting with the owner a bit I laid my cards on the table and asked his opinion. Bottom line, doing everything right, being really smart about it, you maybe clear...

Moving from Nitto Terra 325/50R22 to Ridge 37x12.50R22

I guess I'd just call it a very loose feeling in the back of the truck. As it turns out, Discount Tire will !NOT! replace the tires. They say that the TG2 does not have enough weight rating for an F350. My statement that I'm not so stupid to overload my tires got nowhere and there is no other...

Moving from Nitto Terra 325/50R22 to Ridge 37x12.50R22

Specs on the 325/50/R22 are actually not as good as the Terra, it's speed rating is an R rate tire instead of S. The speed rating is what DT is saying is causing the 'boating' Everything else is spec comparable to the Terra https://tiresize.com/tires/Toyo/Open-Country-AT-II.htm Have you run...
