Is my rear main seal bad?
No oil in the valley. Cleaned up all the issues in the valley last year. However, I do still get a small amout of oil from the turbo pedistal. For some reason I can't get the oil to stop leaking from there -

Is my rear main seal bad?
It has been a few drips everytime it is parked but the bell housing was full of oil. It was coming out of all the holes in the bell housing and going all over stuff under the truck while driving. I was adding .5qt to 1qt every week or two it seemed like. -

Dynatrac all the way. Top notch product/service/support. Just rent a ball joint/u-joint removal tool from your local auto parts store. Afterwards, have the truck aligned and you are all set! Is my rear main seal bad?
Well, I am not taking the engine out...yet. I was thinking about trying to put a good bead of RTV between the current bead and rear lip of the oil pan. I know there are no gaurantees if I do this but hoping it will hold until I can take the engine out. -

Nah, I am replacing my rear main and when I initally tried unbolting the flywheel it would turn over the engine over rather than break the bolt loose. I think I am going with the chain suggestion posted earlier. Thanks -

Locking a 7.3 flywheel
Anyone have a best way to lock the flywheel in place or know where to get a tool to do this? I know I can use an impact gun to get the bolts off but when putting the new flywheel on I need to be able to torque the bolts without turning the engine over. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or... -
