Good looking truck and great job!

Probably because you would want to get a built Allison and if you don't have a core there is a 1K more. A PPE Stage 5 Allison without a core is like 4995 I believe. Then you would have to get a stand alone controller and I don't know how much that would be but I think DeStroked sells that as...

    Greaseable adapter for front bearing

Just to do something different. I tend to overkill/overdo anything I get started doing. I went with Dynatrac ball joints/spindles when I rebuilt my front end as a first step in rebuilding the suspension. Guess I just like the idea of them. I eventually want this to be the ultimate truck even...

A 6spd Allison would be bad@ss! Destroked sells an adapter plate for it to mate to the 7.3. I am sure a lot of people will say just to go with a BTS 4R100 and be done with it but an Allison conversion would be just plain cool. I thought a floor shifter in place of the manual shifter would be...

    Zf-6 filter.

I got one from DieselSite. However, you could probably easily make one yourself. It's a no brainer since the tranny has a pump. However, this is how I discovered that my pump is not working!

    Greaseable adapter for front bearing

Get rid of the unit bearings and go with a fixed spindle.

    zf6 blown

I thought if I ever converted my truck to an auto I would just fab a plate to go over where the manual shifter is now and mount a floor mounted shifter there. That way I would not have to touch my steering column. Of course, I also would want to get the DeStroked adapter plate for the...

    GTX4294R owners...

This the turbo I plan on getting next. I thought I would run the line from my coolant filter straight to the tubo and from the turbo back to the degas tank. The 4294R sounds like an awesome turbo! Good luck!

    ISSPRO EV2 gauge install question

Nevermind. Opened the owners manual and found fuse #27 was an open fuse. Everything is working great! Just went for a test run. With stock injectors and stock tunes I was seeing about 15psi of boost @2500 rpm. EGT's got to around 900 and fuel pressure never went below 65 which I did not think...

Barnhartal, I am not that sharp. What does cutting off the butt connector get me?

    ISSPRO EV2 gauge install question

Ok, got my gauges wired up and found the mini fuse adapters that were mentioned in earlier in this thread. However, go to my fuse panel and all the fuse ports that aren't being used don't have any contacts in them! I know I can get some inline fuses and tap into one of the many other sources of...

Also, that awesome 7.3 build they are doing in the latest issue of DieselPower (see my post in 7.3 aftermarket) is being backed by a ZF6. Can't wait to see the results!

I love my ZF6. My regulator for the fluid pump is out but I will fix that when I upgrade the clutch. If I ever need a rebuild it is going to MidWest Transmissions for some upgrades while I am at it.

When I can afford a big build up I will plan on partially filling the block.
