H&S MCC HD Coated for sure, considering more to prevent further issues mine was build 9/09 didn't know if they had a bad batch go through then, or if anyone else had knows of a truck with similar build date with similar issues.- GotStroke

My thoughts excatly, deleted since 42K grandma owned literally only time spent was pulling a small airstream around till 33K when I bought it. But thinking I traded regen for a potentially just as detrimental scenario. Just my two cents curious on everyone else's thoughts- GotStroke

Truck only has 77,9xx on it. #2 went at 71,xxx just doesn't seem like I should be droppin pistons like I am, I have made maybe 3-4 passes in the thing no sled pulls and just occasional retards on the street but I have always defueled at 1450 and rarely hit near 1400 I used to run water meth but...- GotStroke

Just a piston, cross hatching was perfect and the trucks never been hot or anything. Wasn't by choice but its what I could swing at the time.- GotStroke

I would greatly recommend the Alradco intercooler to anyone considering one. Great price, made in the usa and this intercooler keeps surprising me, not that I didn't expect a good product but my EGTs while towing are crazy low too. Alradco Intercooler review!
Just to chime in. Before I had the intercooler in I would see anywhere from 203-207 oil temp at highways speeds at 1900-2200 ish RPMS 68-72 MPH and coolant would be 195-199 unloaded. And to be honest I did not notice a difference between before and after. The EGTs were between 110 and 180 cooler...- GotStroke

Problems with Water Methanol??
