    Yes, exactly. The water pump impeller is not shaped correctly. Its too far away from the housing too move any water. My dad just bent the impeller fins to be closer to the housing and wahlah it moves water. I can get more details from my dad if you need me to. No aftermarket water pump corrects...

    If you do buy it and it has over heating issues let me know. Its a common problem but a rather easy fix. We didn't figure it out until after buying a larger radiator and adding a pusher fan. It would still run hot. After a water pump mod the car never gets over 185 even on the hottest days.

    I think you got a great list of mods but you could pretty much have mods 2, 3, 4, and 5 done if you go t4 mount and turbo. It might cost a little more up front but you cant beat the turbo options and having bellowed up pipes is a must for optimum performance. Just my thoughts.

    I believe everything up until 96 is the 42. 96 and 97 have the 47. First and reverse gear are lower in the 47 making them more desirable. Buy a clutch for your year truck.
