IDI trans swap
Vehicle is a 94 e350 ambulance with 7.3idi non turbo and e4od trans. Customer has supplied me with an e4od out of a 96 Powerstroke truck. I know the converter is different and the solenoid block is also different. Can the solenoid block be swapped and everything else work? Sent from my iPhone...- webb06

OBS bogs down in reverse
Does the torque converter lock and hold as it should when driving? Might be the converter locking up in reverse. Which I have seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- webb06

Got 2 trucks in our shop that are using coolant. Have pressure tested both trucks and there are no external leaks found. One is a 2011 other is a 2016. Both company trucks that do a lot of hauling and highway driving. Both trucks are dleted, both exhaust and egr. Anybody seeing headgasket issues... -
Over heating while towing.
Don’t think the secondary system is the issue if trans is only 190. Maybe check and see if the front of the primary rad is plugged with grass seed, bugs, hay, etc. don’t know if it’s a farm truck or anything like that. What was coolant temp when oil was 248? Maybe worth throwing a thermostat... -

Anybody with a mini max tuner able to monitor ebp pressure or voltage? Looking at a customers truck last week trying to diag a turbo issue and saw his ebp voltage was 0 volts and 4psi. Returned truck to stock and ebp readings were normal. So I looked at a buddies truck to compare. Same thing...
