    Built 5r110w reverse issue

Just installed my built 5r110w, which I rebuilt myself with the bd stage 4 kit, billet input, and billet low/reverse hub, and a billet TC. I filled the tc, and transmission with about 12qt of SP prior to starting it. Fired it up and topped up the fluid, went through the gears and topped it up...

Tuning issue? Ezlynk with proven diesel tunes

Had that issue on my truck. Turns out the fuel pump inertia shut off switch under the passenger side dash must have got bumped when we were working under there. Pretty unlikely but its worth a check, its a red switch. Can be accessed through the passenger side dash access panel

6.4 Rebuild - Valvetrain Movement ('Lift') - Very Little

What he said Even with dry lifters, the rocker should compress the spring somewhat. Pushrods are too short

    KC Turbos 6.4 turbo testing

I've heard many say fresh pump will do 15's and I've heard a lot say no way, but never seen any info to back it up. Just curious

    KC Turbos 6.4 turbo testing

Would be interesting to see a dyno graph of stock sticks vs 15% or 30% over sticks on a stock pump.

    Single turbo dyno numbers

Any idea what it would make with extra fuel like 60% over injectors?

    Single turbo dyno numbers

Looking for dyno numbers on 6.4 single turbo set ups, ideally the S369SXE but not limited to that. Just got a single S369SXE on stock fuel and I'm about to dyno it but want to know what to expect. Would like to make over 700 eventually when I get to fuel mods. Is that doable?

    6.4 cylinder lip

Alright, getting the block machined, the heads are within tolerance. Got new rockers and lifters. odawg intake arp rod bolts -are there any other bolts on the motor that are tty or one time use that i should replace? -is it worth oringing the heads or is a properly machined surface with studs...

    6.4 cylinder lip

Ya, I did, not doing this all over again! Just wondering about valve train upgrades and if it's worth the money.

    6.4 cylinder lip

Alright, thanks for the replies. Ordered a full rebuild with .30 over pistons. Is there anything else that needs or is worth upgrading? Like I said, I'm running a single S369SXE ungated.

    6.4 cylinder lip

Got a 08 6.4 that I've noticed has some pretty good crank case pressure once warm. I pulled the motor to install studs and a single turbo, thinking I would have to replace a cracked cylinder as well. None of the cylinders are cracked, I've cleaned and thoroughly checked each one. The one thing I...

    6.0 Cracked rocker questions

I also have 50 thousandths valve releifs, I think I got about 37 thousandths of clearance between the valve and piston. The whole kit was from dynamic diesel

    6.0 Cracked rocker questions

When I assembled the motor I checked all my piston protrusions and did a fully piston to valve check with plasticine. It was close but within spec. The weird thing was it happened when it was cold, at pretty much idle, just down the street from my buddy's house.

    6.0 Cracked rocker questions

I see. the lifter and push rods are from dynamic diesel, and the rockers are the original 2004 f350 set, so unless dynamic screwed up, I cant see that as the problem

    6.0 Cracked rocker questions

The head was fully rebuilt by a local machine shop and I turned the motor over to find the issue and the pushrod was moving flawlessly, the rocker cracked at basically an idle. My guess is misalignment when they were Installed.

    6.0 Cracked rocker questions

Just rebuilt my 6.0 with various performance items including high rev valve springs and a stage 2 cam from dynamic diesel. It now has about 1000km's of careful break in driving under its belt. But on a trip to Seattle to visit some buddies, I cracked a rocker. Now I'm wondering first of all if...

    Piston protrusion issue

Ya but if you got a .053 head gasket and a .050 fly cut, there is no way you'll nick a valve. Idk just my thoughts. I'll check it when I got the heads on with an old gasket.

    Piston protrusion issue

Ok, I contacted dynamic diesel and they got back to me right away, assuring me that with the valve pockets it would be fine even with the stage 2 cam. The gasket is about 0.052 this so the .040 piston protrusion is fine! Big relief.
