    If so just swap the front drive shaft as well. Although I believe they are the same between 05-06. Ya I understand the gear ratio thing. Front axle should bolt right in though so not much harder than removing spacers sinc you will be swapping whole suspension anyway.

    Swap the rear axles to covert the rear. For the front I believe you can just remove the dually adapter and should be good to go. Then suspension should all swap over.

    I would bring it up to your insurance agent and have them right for you to not use the cheap knock off parts. Esp if your policy states no aftermarket parts.

    Hope the wife is ok. Have the truck towed to your place. The adjuster can come look at it there. That way if totaled you can get your stuff off and replace with stock parts before they tow it out.
