    back pressure desired

As I said, the truck pulls great on boost. Towing is not a problem. It just doesn't have the Same off boost response as before. The pistons are not cut. The cam is an RCD stage 2. Sorry if I mucked up your thread, I was searching for some info when I came across this and I must've read...

    back pressure desired

I'm with you on the sluggish feeling. I just finished my own overhaul: HD pistons, RCD cam. On the boost, it feels strong. Off the boost, it doesn't have the same nuts as before. I even had the injectors tested and balanced at RCD. I'm going to see if i can find some time to go visit...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

PSA's FORscan thread is here: http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74531&page=9 I think some of the links in that thread are going dead. Here's the link for the F150 google doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uDSQ1Z5a2Wt8-kjrSiVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/htmlview#

    SiriusXM Quality

^^^^^^^^. Also, believe it or not, some stations will have a better sound than others. There's a lot of talk about this on DIYMA. Some guys are canceling their vehicle subscriptions and only using the internet version. Then streaming through their phone. Streaming sounds a tad better...

    6.0 heads Aluminum heads?

That may help. But I think there's a deformity aspect that may be present. I assume the dimensions of the heads will be the same as the steel versions. Thus, you can't compensate with more material for the lack of rigidity. Like I said before, just thinking out loud... I am by no means an...

    6.0 heads Aluminum heads?

Great to see some progress in this department. In regards to the aluminum heads, do you think there would be issues with head gaskets? The 6.0/6.4 are 4 bolt per cylinder configuration. I believe the other engines utilizing aluminum heads are 5 bolt per cylinder. I wonder if there would be...

    Higher micron filter than FS1000?

You have any issues with road debris hitting the filters? looks like you got it mounted on driver-side-outer frame rail. Do you happen to drive it in the cold?

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

they suck. I've spent quite a bit of time scoping the head unit in stock form, it clips significantly. I assume for speaker protection. You could try to change the settings using FORscan. But, as i mentioned above, I don't know if you could cause damage to the factory amp.

I also use audison. It is VERY picky on input voltage and signal cleanliness. Glad I could help. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

I guess you could if there was coding for a non-siruis radio..... take a look at the Google docs spreadsheet that powerstroked08 posted on the FORscan conversation. In that spreadsheet there's a breakdown of the coding. That sheet is for f150s, not everything is correct for superdutys but...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

In our trucks the ACM is the head unit. I don't know which address addresses your concern. I know that previous to the software update released by Ford, mine defaulted to Bluetooth as long as my phone was connected. I'll have to check post update. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

    2011 F-250 Steering Wheel Controls

Hmm, this is a tough one..... I would make sure you have all the modules required to make this work. Then I would use FORscan to figure out what coding differences there are between your truck and a truck with SYNC from the factory (preferably same year). if you haven't worked with FORscan...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

I don't think it would because the Sony amp is made to work with the extremely low voltage output. You could try , but I wouldn't recommend it. Taking the voltage from less than 1v to 4v would cause some havoc on an amp. Also, you might lose the factory sound processing. Sent from my...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

I can't speak for the non-nav unit's sound quality. I've never measured its output with an oscilloscope. I assume would be like any normal radio since they don't have, basically, a computer inside. The Sony Nav units produce less than 1v pre-amp And a horribly clipped signal. Sent from...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

Hi all, For those who are trying to achieve good SQ with the stock navigation, I'm sure you're aware that the Sony Navs are not the greatest. The reason is that the programming in the audio control module (ACM) is purposefully clipped from Ford (plenty of info out there; search "Ford ACM...
