Didn't have much time over the last few days. Got the beans sump installed, and the factory pickup foot removed so I can return through it. Also got the MPD log manifolds and v-banded uppipes on, along with the HTT 364.5.
Engine is back in the frame after a complete reseal, RCD cam, new lifters, RCD pushrods, o-ringed heads, extreme studs, bpd water pump, and a few other things. Decided to paint everything while I was at it.
Journal bearing. It will have shaft play. The shaft doesn't actually ride on the bearing, so there will always be play. Has it contacted the housing while running? That's the important part. I've saw brand new turbos that you could make contact the housing just sitting there.
