    Anyone wanna take bets?

Chris glad to hear its fixed Zmann not to sound rude as I'm curious more then anything but what if any kind of education do you have in the auto industries. I have been wrong before and I cant say I have check voltage on these trucks but I can say that I have worked on 1000's of vehicle over...

    Anyone wanna take bets?

Chris was seeing 12.5-12.7 cruising down the road at 2000rpm. Somethings wrong and I highly doubt there is a 100amp draw on the system bring battery voltage that low. The only other thing it could be is an Alt. Let rephrase my statment then you want to see 14-14.7 out of your truck when...

    Anyone wanna take bets?

It does when the system is designed to be run at 14.5 or better and your only charging to less. This may not be the problem with Chris truck I just thought he should check it out. I have been in the auto industry for almost 15yrs. 99% of the vehicles I see that are charging less then 14.5...

    Anyone wanna take bets?

FYI on battery voltage. Normal driving down the road with lights,ac and heater on high you should be seeing 14.5 and with no load you want 14.7 . This is for all vehicles except VW, Audi they only charge there battery to 14.2 and by doing this they shorten the life of there batterys. A typical...

    Test mule build

I know this was a few months ago we were talking about other materials but I just happened to remember what the other material was so I thought I would share. Its a Aerment 340. Not cheap but it has been holding up well on off road trucks where 300m will brake. Mike

    crankcase vent into exhaust

By putting the pipe in the exhaust you are creating the ventrui. That is why the angle that the small pipe meets up with the big pipe matters. Play like jegs and summit sell large check valves so exhaust pressure cant be pushed back into the motor encase something/one would block of the exhaust.

    crankcase vent into exhaust

It has nothing to do with pressure and everything to do with venturi effect. Same principle turbos cars use with blow thru carbs. The air passing by the orifice creates a vacuum sucking out crankcase pressures. Here is a quick soildworks simulation of the venturi effect...

    Test mule build

There is harder shafts them 300M. They have been using them in rock crawling rigs for the last yr and there holding up great where 300m will brake. Cant remember the name right now of the material but when I think of it I will post it. When I looked into it it was about 6x the cost of 300m and...

    No start, please help.

My guess when you where doing the fuel bowl delete you bumped the UVHC harness and they need to be replaced. I have had trucks in for doing turbo work and end up replacing the harness from bumping them while working on them. They usually do the same things your does. Fire up but act like a...

    7.3l intake heater.

I'll take it. Its for a diesel sportsman :redspotdance: not my truck. I'm thinking it should work the same as a grid heater on a cummGins but on a much smaller scale. Intake on the sportsmen is only 1" in diameter. I'll pm you my address.

    7.3l intake heater.

Lots of guys had pulled these out and plugged them. Anyone have one laying around they want to sell? My diesel sportsman came with no glow plugs or grid heater and anything under 30 degrees it wont start with out a little spray. Thinking adding one of these to the intake would greatly help it...

2006 with lack of power at times

Here is a video he just sent me. Anything more then 10% throttle the boost goes to 20psi and stays there no matter how much you push on the skinny pedal. Another note is that its stuck doing this. It would usally snap out of it and then drive fine now its always doing it.

2006 with lack of power at times

Been working on a 2006 6.0l with 106,000 miles on it. Bone stock except for an EGR delete. Customer complained that it would have lack of power at times. Took it for a test drive and had it once just drop power and turbo boost spike at 20 and stay there. Customer had already purchased a reman...
