    No idea on the 4cyl but I'm guessing 400 pounds. A SBC with alum intake and heads is right around 450 pounds figure another 100 for exhaust manifolds and accessory and your right at the 600 mark. I looked into the diesel thing as I thought it would be cool but there was way to many cons then...

    Need to get the wakeboard tower/bimin top up to the cabin and didnt want to drive the truck home for just that. I used the TDI instead. Pulled really well. :) Picture of it on the boat.

    Yay tell me about it. I have had the boat out since April 1st and I'm getting alittle sick of scraping snow off the cover. :doh::doh::doh: Thanks its been alot of fun. I still have few more things left to do. Building a Wakeboard tower/bimini top and shes get a 350hp Mercruiser Mag motor.

    You could try a good epoxy like a Lord Adhesive. Its a used alot in Aviation and Off road industry to bond anything to anything. Like Alum to steel. Plastic to alum etc. Do not mig it. You will just burn it right off there. Todo it right you will need to pull the tranny and get it on its side...

    Friend Smells Exhaust In Cab

    One thing I have seen from time to time is if the turbo's vanes are sticking it will cause high back pressure causing the up-pipes to lead a shorter life. FYI.
