You're right on power in a drivable package. I have had a lot of fun with my trucks, and they're stock aside from a tune. My long bed is a blast and it's tuned no where near as hot as my harley, and it's two feet longer lol. I commute 840-1000 miles a week and then rip around all weekend. I can...

What have you done to your powerstroke today?

I have something similar to do on a work truck soon. Trying to figure out what the best solution is when I get pulled over by DOT. Thinking hollow everything out or block it off and just play dumb.

Got a quirstion...

Idling for that long is it possible that you were seeing a little bit of wet stacking? Unburnt fuel accumulating in the exhaust. IIRC, the engine doesn’t stay hot enough at idle to completely burn the fuel.

Unless you have a real special reason for getting rid of the ball joint I just keep it for an on road truck ball joints are much better than heims. Heims squeak and they’re overkill for a street truck.
