I put a third ficm in it and it won’t idle but cranks up and drives alright. Throws a code for the cps but it’s brand new. Going to try and isolate that and then see what’s up. It cant be a harness because that ficms been in and out a few time and it won’t run with that ficm. But that ficm... -

Wtf I want to keep the original fitcm in the truck because the tuned one is mine. I’m gonna figure out what’s wrong with t2, and end with 23’s parts in it. I’m going to figure out what’s causing the issue and fix it not just leave the ficms swapped -

With the original ficm in it, it will turn over but won’t fire, if you shake the harness it will fire a little bit but won’t actually run Cranked right up and runs with the other one in it -

Alright riddle me this. Truck 2 dies while running, won’t restart. Swap the ficms between trucks 2 and 23. Both trucks run fine with the other truck’s ficm. Swap the ficms back between the two trucks and truck 2 won’t start. 23 had a tuned ficm, and truck 2 has an injector dying if that... -

6.0 starts and dies
Check the ficm with another truck if possible. Had a truck with a bad connector and it threw no codes, everything looked good, but it was losing sync, dying and not restarting. Swapped ficms with another truck and it ran fine. Just because it's showing 48v doesn't mean your ficm doesn't have... -

How much was the bypass kit, if you and jim don't mind talking money in the open? 20k would we awesome. I drive a ton. Already running 8854 in all my 6.4's and going to switch the old mans 6.7 over to it.- Connor M

Truck Fked. Any advice?
buy a bcm for like 180 bucks online and drop the truck off with the truck at a ford dealer if that's an option. I believe they need to copy files off the bm while it's in the truck and then install the new one, and flash it back. I just went through this a few weeks ago.- Connor M

18 f450 cab removal can't find any info
undo anything holding the cab to the rest of the truck but really, it's just tedious, not particularly hard or tricky. Things like cooling hoses and electrical connections, steering shaft and trans cable, and take it slow. Why are you pulling the engine from a brand new truck? How did you run...- Connor M

Damn, I’d love to find a place with bulk 8854. Honestly I should probably buy a 55 gallon drum considering I have 3 6.4’s in my shop, 3 6.0’s, and 3 3126 cats, and my dad’s 6.7. Plus some isuzu/mistu 4cyls that probably can run 5w-40.- Connor M

Is ELS still open? Just not a dealer for LE I guess? Is he still trying to do anything with dieselpros.co? I thought that was a great idea. Idk if it’s profitable if hes no longer a dealer though. Ordered oil from him in like August. Still my fav guy to get oil from.- Connor M

6.4 cylinder lip
There’s bot that much more work to tear the whole engine down and bring it all to the machine shop if you have the heads off. Good choice on full engine IMO. Do maxxforce 7 pistons. Have the heads and block surfaced, made flat, and have the heads checked for cracks. Do new lifters. -
Proper flush and fill method for main 6.7 radiator
Iirc you can’t just drain it and get it all. I’ve been dreading doing the coolant in my dad’s truck for that reason.
