Thinking about getting into a 17-19 6.7... any issues?
The 8 speed transmissions are the biggest issue. My cousin had one and had the same issues. The qc might have been one off, and a cpo probably has all the little stuff fixed. Starting Over! New to 6.0 Performance
I love my 6.4 and still drive it every day, but I just picked up a high miles 2003 f350 rclb for dirt cheap for my work truck. Anyways, what I know about common rail trucks doesn't really translate to heui, apparently. I'm planning to wait for headgaskets to pop, and I'll replace the lifters...- Connor M

I was talking about his yukon actually. It's been to gm dealers multiple times. It's just a thing with the 8 speed transmissions. it sucks. The "fix" didn't work so they issues a tsb telling dealers just to wait for the new fix.- Connor M

I've never been a curmudgeon who says "the don't build em like they used to" but I really think the interior in my 2005 was nicer than my dads 15. His has more technology but the interior was much more comfortable and better built. And mine ran for 303k miles on the original transmission, his...- Connor M

My dad's 2015 gmc yukon denali's qc was SHIIIIIIT. Bolt punched up through the carpet in the back. Trim falling off. Doors don't line up. Sharkfin leaks. GPS didn't work and took 2 trips to fix. And the trans still has issues after tons of visits to the dealer. They all have major issues right...- Connor M

Yours lol. I love the white surround and bumper with the grey/black center. I was gonna do my work truck like that (but in black) but since it’s a black truck I didn’t think it would be worth it. Looks awesome on white though.- Connor M

Is this really a thing? NAPA oil filters
What ctc said. FWIW, I maintain a fleet of roughly 30 trucks and pieces of equipment and we use mostly napa gold filters. I've ran both napa and ford on my 6.4 with no issues so far.- Connor M

My old yukon used to eat wheel bearings and the traction control would cut power and engage the abs when you accelerated from a start. I lived with it for a little while by pulling the ABS fuse but replacing both wheel speed sensors and a hub (all in one shot, so i don't know what it was) fixed... -
