Truck won't move in OD, 1, or 2, regardless of 2wd or 4wd. Only reverse works.
If your shifter cable/linkage checks out, then the transmission has to come down. You cannot replace any hard parts by pulling the pan.- Tiha

It is internal that is for sure. The E4OD which should be what you have, will move without electronics forward and backward. So maybe like a forward drum or direct drum failure. can't remember for sure, been a while since I have been in one, but certainly has to come out of the truck.- Tiha

7.3 fan clutch noise

I called PCS, they really were not that helpful. He originally said it could not be done. First the only unit that might do it is the TCM2800 because that is the only unit they sell to the public. He said I could program a 5th shift to run a digital output to run the GV so it is possible...- Tiha

The GV operates off oil pressure, of course, but the pump is driven by the output shaft. So you need ground speed to build pressure. I can't remember what GV said like don't operate below 30mph or 20 mph but with the pump driven like that you can understand the reasoning behind it. I have...- Tiha

PCS is one I would still like to call but if they are like any of the other tuners they don't actually control the solenoids and do not have outputs to control solenoids or relays. They simply load their software in place of what is already in the PCM At least that is how it was explained to me.- Tiha

I know a couple guys that used the Quick 4 on Gas engine broncos and they love it. Have nothing bad to say at all. Easy setup, easy tuning. That is probably what I will do. As far as the GV, I can grab the Vss and make a trigger. make my own little controller. I can't really think of too...- Tiha

I FINALLY got through to a tech guy at Baumann or USSHIFT or whatever you want to call them. He was helpful and we brainstormed a while but he basically said it is impossible to run an E4OD and a Gear Vender with any of their controllers. The quick shift 6 is specifically for the 6r trans...- Tiha

2015 injector questions
Are you using forscan or ids or what program are you using? -
F53 Hydroboost for OBS conversion?
Don't know the measurements but you could certainly shorten the rod too, quick cut and weld. Interesting thought, I never paid attention. But the pedal certainly will never reach the floor as it is, so certainly room to play around there.- Tiha

Exactly, that is why I need to call them. I "assume" I need the quick 6 in order to have enough available outputs to run the GV, but there is no pre loaded, or pre programmed shift points for the E4OD on the Quick 6 platform that I can see, so probably have to start everything from scratch...- Tiha

Yep I was actually looking for an old Gen 1 when I saw they had these new ones out. I need to call them. I know with the Gen 1 I can also control my gear vender. Not sure if the Quick 4 will or if I need the quick 6.- Tiha
