I will add it to my todo list. Any idea what diameter the cam gear is? Or the drive ratio? If the pump to cam is 2:1 then turning the engine over the marks will probably line up but a different mark will show on the cam gear. -

Well that is interesting. That is exactly how it came apart. So I put it back together that way. The drive gear never left the housing. Keyway was on top on both new and old pumps. So if that is truly off it has been that way for over 140k miles, meaning it must not matter. -

Front doors on crew cab what years will interchange with a 2000 f350
I have not witnessed it, but have read the 11-16 doors will work but you need to add holes for the door panel fitment. Not a big deal just be aware.- Tiha

I finally started back up on this project. Got my contamination kit. Started putting injectors in. I visually check and clean each injector hole before install. A chunk of air line on a blow gun shoved into the hole seems to clean them up perfectly. Lube up the new injector with fresh oil... -

Correct. You have lots of options, they are plentiful in the used market. Otherwise they are still popular enough that getting parts should not be difficult. Hopefully you caught it soon enough you can get by with just bearings. -

What year are we working on? Seems like there have been a lot of broken wire issues with VSS lately. Rubbed through along the frame rail, that type of thing. Worst case your ring hear is missing some teeth on the reluctor wheel. Which would mean bigger problems. May not hurt to pull the rear... -

Restricted air flow will cause it to freeze, like dirty evap. Or leaves or mouse nest in front of it. Also a low charge can make them freeze up. But that doesn't happen very often.- Tiha

Yes I mean block. Usually if there is water dripping it isn't freezing up too bad. No water, might be freezing. But seems like when they freeze up and ice over you shut the ac off for 20 minutes, it thaws out and works for 30 minutes again.- Tiha

I found one on FB market place. Bracket, pump and pulley but the pump was shot. So keep an eye on marketplace. They still pop up from time to time.- Tiha

Okay, sounds like the blower motor is not working? Could just be a bad blower motor. You can hit it with a hammer and see if it starts up. If the evap is freezing usually it will blow air flow. But if your blower motor is not working that won't matter. The ac low pressure cutout is kind of...- Tiha

Easy to remember tip. The perfect freon charge on any ac system is when the inlet and outlet of the evaporator are the same temperature. Sometimes it is difficult to reach the evap, but a quick feel with your fingers is a great diagnostic tool. Needs to be past the expansion valve or...- Tiha
