Two philosophies on cornering. Stiff springs with a small sway bar or big sway bar with lighter springs. Shocks control the spring rate. If your springs have a high spring rate, which it sounds like they are, you need a stiff shock.
Most of your cornering will come from the front. You could...
All the gears I have done, minus the solid spacer ones, I used about the same thickness as the stock gears.
Also I have seen ones that were too far in and the pattern looked like it needed more, backed it out and pattern started to look normal.
Since you pull the trailer on the beach get an all terrain. Mud's dig too much. Everyone has their favorite but if I bought a set it would be the BFG or Goodyear.

Did you have Geico or does the person that hit you? It sounds like the person that hit your wife has Geico and had 25K in property damage. If the other party has Geicothen I hope you have full coverage or un/underinsured motorist. If not you are going to have to fight them, the driver not the...
I need to change my picture. I sold the 450. But yes it would it is a beast of a truck. The 6.7 stock is amazing to me though. The 350 I have now is an animal. I can't imagine tuned.

My 16 is not tuned so can't comment on them other than I would watch the temps with the truck in high gear and also slip on the TC. Lot of torque to grunt over stuff.
Do not haul anything with 19.5's and 40 psi in them or you will be asking to break a bead. If you don't know the beads are very different in half size tires. Don't compare what someone does with 17's or 16's wth someone with 19.5's.
Its harder to do with 19.5's because of the sidewall but to...
The biggest thing I did to help unloaded was to run low pressure in the tires. I ran about 40 range in the back if I was driving for a while on the freeway. Even on the 16 I do the same but it has 17's so the tires are not that stiff to start with.
Really other than change the rear springs not much. Put air ride on it but thats $$$$. 450's are not meant to be grocery getters, you're seeing that. They are meant to have 4000# in the bed. Even then they don't squat that much.
F450's shouldn't have blocks on the rear. If yours does they were added.
Most of your ride will come from the rear of the truck.
The front can be rather stiff and the back plush and it will feel nice. The other way, not so much.
The frame is different on that model 450. The weigh more too, my...
I would measure my pan and tell you how much height each quart adds but I don't have my truck at the house.
Or if your close to your truck you can.
Measure the pan in inches
Each quart is 57.75 cubic inches. It should get you close on how much each quart will raise the oil level.
If I remember right the book says 13 or something close to that. Mine usually takes 14 range. I do the same let it drain for a while and fill the filter. I jack the front up a little to try and get everything out. yea the dipstick sucks, but not as bad at the 6.4 trucks. Those are totally useless.
I started with a Lincoln Weldpack and now have a Miller. I like the way the Miller welds better than the Lincoln but that is preference only. Both did a good job. Never welded with a Hobart but I have been told they are good also.

It is weird. There is a cylinder on the hydro boost that holds pressure. Maybe that did it but the brakes felt fine this weekend. Wheels were straight.
This weekend I pumped the brakes a few times with the truck off and the level did rise in the reservoir but not a lot. Truck is parked for a...
