What tires does everyone run on their F-450s?

The only true mt tires I’ve seen for 19.5s are remolds by treadwright. They’re similar to the Goodyear mtr. I’ve ran them on one of my duramax trucks years ago with no issues.

What wheel width and tire width you running?

    Icon or Carli

I like using icon springs and trac bars. All the brackets I use are always Pmf. Plain reservoir fox shocks work good enough for what I do.

    Heavy haul tire question

I run Toyo rts in 305/55r20 on my dually. They’re the 12plys, usually have them at 80psi. Never an issue. I rarely use my bumper pull. If I do it’s 12-13k. I load it really heavy with my 40ft gooseneck. A 2000lb welding skid, and 24-26k worth of trailer and materials. I get great tread life and...

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

Not yet. The shop my truck is at is pretty busy right now, and had moved locations so it’s being delayed. I’m actually calling to get an update tomorrow.

    2008 Dually 35"

A 35 will fit with a leveling kit without any issues. The rears will work with a 2-3” spacer, depending on width. Some 12.50s run narrow, others are wider. I had 35x12.50r17 Toyo mts on my 06 with a 2.5” icon spring, and 2” rear spacers. Never had any rubbing. I later upgraded to the icon 4.5”...

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

Finally getting a chance to take my truck in. I will update what the shop finds, and what I’m doing to get it fixed. I’m definitely going with arp 625 studs this time, unless it not a necessary upgrade. Also, I’m adding an odawg s3r intake.

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

The degas psi fluctuates when it shifts at high rpms. Taking it in. The long block has a 3yr unlimited mileage warranty.

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

Little update, maybe. My motorcraft thermostat came in, but I decided to try something before changing it out. I have a digital combustible gas indicator I carry in my welding truck. Before opening the degas cap, it still had 7psi, and had been sitting for a couple days. I turned on the truck...

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

Idling it’s fine. It stays low. You have to get hard on it to hit 14psi+. Local parts store didn’t have an indicator. I have to order one.

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

Hooked a gauge up yesterday. After truck is warmed up, it will reach 14-16psi. Tried a few different tunes, same thing. Never puked though. On a hard run going uphill, it will hit 17-18psi, then back down to around 14psi. Egts 1000, eot 195, ect 200. Upper radiator hose is hard as well. I am...

I haven’t checked the upper hose recently, but it wasn’t hard when I last remember checking it several months ago.

    Degas cap pukes coolant sometimes

My 06 sometimes pukes coolant out the degas cap. It has a kdd stage 1 long block, Kc stage 1, oringed heads and oem gaskets with arp studs, and 175/stock injectors. I used to run an atlas 40 as well. I have tried the atlas 80, but I dont like the extra egts that come with it. I’m going to hook a...

    Weight

With my 19 dually, I haul 20 5x6 rolls of hay on my 40ft dual tandem all the time. Each roll averages 1500lbs, plus the 10k lb trailer. No problems. I scale 37500lbs with my 310sg backhoe. I also haul my welding rig with the same truck, while loaded.
