It isn't THAT big of an issue for me, but yes, I'm a little disappointed that these parts aren't treated or coated with something. I've never seen a vehicle come from the factory already rusty and I've probably bought 8 or 10 new cars and trucks in my lifetime. This one being the most expensive... -

New to diesel's....may be a dumb question. Prior to ****ting down I idle for about 4 minutes until the oil temp drops below 200......starting up in the morning I let it run for 5 minutes before I leave. Is this necessary? It drives my impatient wife nuts but this investment (2011 lariet) needs... -

Another new guy from SoCal
