    That's a 6.0 correct? The 6.4 has more clamp load so probably can't go quite as aggressive.

    My machine shop is doing it. I have a set of aluminum 6.0 heads from kdd that are .011 but I would think the aluminum would take up some of that

    Up till now I've got all my orings set to .006 protrusion. I've seen guys go .008 and even more on aluminum heads. What is safe and at what point is the coolant passage seal an issue? Working on some higher hp stuff so be interested In trying more protrusion.

    Yes the maxxforce7 pump is interchangeable but is usually a bit more than powerstroke version. I've been told they outperform our pumps but never proved it so not sure I believe it.

    My oh my! Triple digits, quick spool, and factory bottom end? I love it, intrested to see what it'll take. How was drive pressure on the last run? I assume its ungated? Very impressive for a drop in lp only, I'm scared to know whats gong to happen when you loosen up that hp turboLOL

    Hey thanks for the reply. I forgot to update, but after pulling the trans and going through it, I found on reassembly that I had put the factory overdrive piston in instead of the machined version, so with the extra clutches, it had put enough force on the pressure plate to bust 2 teeth and...

    Built 5r110w reverse issue

    Swapped out solenoids A,E, and D. No changes, gunna check line pressure today. I'm hearing a not so good metalic sound from the front of the transmission. So I'm leaning towards a pump issue, but how do I tell if its the pump or the TC? The TC is a brand new billet unit.
