    T-4 mount up pipe welds?

That was me that said that about the grinders. I agree that there is no need to grind them if welded the right way but these welds need a grinder and a soft pad no doubt about it. I've been a welder for 20 years and I can tell you all good welders have spent their fare share of time running a...

    T-4 mount up pipe welds?

The welder needs to turn up his heat and make sure he is tied in to both plates and 10 minutes with a grinder and a soft pad would make alot of difference in the appearance in those pipes and mounts. I have no doubt Jake will take care of this problem and these pipes and mounts will be like his...

    T-4 mount up pipe welds?

Those welds are horrible! A weld is like signing your name, the welder who did those welds either has little experience or has no pride in his work. Jake it might be time to get a QC inspector and have your parts checked before shipping.

    Lost a cylinder

It ended up being a bent valve, the mechanic found a 6mm bolt in the intake runner . The egr delete has been done for at least 2 years and since my buddy has owned this truck for the last year he has not had anything done to it. Well at least now the motor will be studded and resealed.

    Squeaky clutch pedal

Yeah it's not much. It's probably going to be faster to just install a new pedal assembly though, IIRC they aren't that much either.

    Squeaky clutch pedal

Pedal bushings are worn, it's a common problem.

    Lost a cylinder

It's going to a different shop now, I guess we'll see wat the verdict is. BTW the truck now starts like the batteries are dead, misses at idle and the exhaust will burn your eyes (unburnt fuel).

    96 7.3 into 78 Ford

I was going to do the same thing, all I was going to do was fab up an aluminum dash panel and use aftermarket gauges instead of the old factory gauges. I think a donor truck is a must also, I considered just adapting the old 78 body to a newer chassis too.
