I ran a set of 285's about 3 years ago and they were great tires. My truck never came off of a trailer and i did some pretty heavy towing then. A buddy of mine actually still has them on his truck.

I will be running close to the same turbo but I am going with the s475 with the t4 flange. So I will be curious to see how spool up is?

Its doable Cat, this is what i used. Also if you cut the head off of the bolt it would probably make it easier. Good-luck buddy!

I think you are on the right track with going with stage 1's. They are a great upgrade for these trucks and it really wakes them up. One thing you will probably need to think about is a turbo upgrade if you do tow quite a bit. I went through 3 stock turbo's all within 6 months. Good-luck with...
