If that was the case it would still do it with the icp sensor unplugged. Sounds like the sensor, or wiring of that particular sensor, since it acts right when the sensor is unplugged. Have you tried a whole new/different harness?

I would be very suspicious that they didn't give you exact compression numbers for each cylinder.

How would a post puke? There is no physical way for any kind of fluid to come out of the post. Puking batteries is normally from getting too hot due to overcharging.
