01 rough idle when cold, need some advice

A friend of mine at work as a stock 01 f350 with 220k miles. He said he was having problems with hard cold starts and that it lopes an sometimes stalls. It only does this when it's below 30 even when it's plugged in. Just looking for some advice for him. Thanks!

He said it only does it for about 20sec then it smooths back out, it isn't smoking either. That's making me lean towards something else being the problem

What oil is he running at that temp I believe 10w30 is 7.3 winter grade oil or full synthetic

10-30 is pretty light for a 7.3.

Check the icp sensor for oil in the connector. And like stated, it could be the ipr or worn injectors

Everyone I've been around does it seems like . I haven't worried about it with my truck
