So I installed the headlight and when I turn them on the lights are really dim and the hi-beam indicator come on dim as well. It seams I have them hooked up right but I cant figure out how it is back feeding through.

What did you do for headlight plugs? I had adapter pig tails for my 05' lights at one point, somehow a one of the connections melted causing the same thing. (dim lights and a dim high beam dash warning light). Replaced the pig tails with a full conversion harness and I've never had the problem again.

Check your grounds and all the connections/ wiring.

I had to modify my whole harness and ended up wishing I would have just built it myself. The pigtails fit like crap and are loose. They make a tool kit so you can take apart pretty much any pigtail. Take apart the pigtail and squeeze the female end a little so you have a tighter connection.

You have them wired up wrong. Instead of going to ground through the ground wire, it is going through the high beam element and wire. This gives more resistance and is why they are dim.
