05-07 Painted Mirrors

How do you take the painted part off the mirrors? got a set off a king ranch to have them PTM but dont want to break anything when doing it.

There are 4 tabs that hold the cover on, they are located at each corner behind the big mirror. You just need to look back there and pop the tab off with a flathead screwdriver and it will come off
